Our Client Onboarding Process

We have designed our onboarding process to be thorough yet efficient, ensuring all compliance requirements are met while respecting your time.

Step 1: Initial Conversation

We begin with a confidential discussion to understand your objectives, circumstances, and requirements. This can be conducted by phone, video call, or in person at our Melbourne office. There is no obligation and no fee for this initial conversation.

Step 2: Proposal & Agreement

If we mutually agree to proceed, we provide a written proposal outlining:

  • The services to be provided
  • Our fee structure (fixed, percentage-based, or project)
  • Key terms and conditions
  • Next steps

Once you are comfortable with the proposal, we execute a formal Client Agreement.

Step 3: Compliance & Verification

As a licensed financial services provider, we are required to verify the identity of all clients and conduct appropriate due diligence. You will be asked to provide:

  • Certified identification documents (passport, driver's licence)
  • Proof of residential address
  • Bank account details for transactions
  • Source of wealth information (where applicable)

This process is standard across the financial services industry and typically takes 2–3 business days to complete.

Step 4: Account Establishment

Once verification is complete, we establish your personal custodial account. You will receive:

  • Your unique bank account details
  • Secure login credentials for the client portal
  • Funding instructions (if applicable)
  • Welcome pack with key contact details

Step 5: Funding & Activation

You transfer funds to your designated personal custodial account via domestic wire transfer (Australian banks) or International SWIFT transfer (overseas banks). Funds are typically visible in your portal within 1–2 business days of receipt. Once funds are cleared, your account is fully active.
